Art and Music Instructors provide free classes to local youth and senior adults onsite in apartment complexes and community centers.

NUMBERS SERVED
Over 83 individuals have participated in our classes and performances since January 2010. Fifty-two percent are local youth. Forty-eight percent are adults. Ten percent are professional musicians and artists.

MISSION
Our mission is to provide cultural enrichment through broad-based educational experiences and performances and art showings to people of all ages.
COLLABORATIONS
The Arts Alliance works with the Balch Springs Chamber of Commerce to educate and prepare our local
youth to be leaders and business owners through the
Young Entrepreneur Club.
The Balch Springs Arts Alliance is dedicated to providing youth and adults with quality music instruction and giving them a venue for performing. We have an all volunteer board, volunteer degreed instructor and directors. Instruction is offered in 30-minute weekly sessions. Students are encouraged to attend and perform at Open Mic Nite, free of charge, as a monthly venue for performing and practicing in front of an audience. Singers and actors are also welcome to participate in other community performances such as musical revues and readers theatre.
